It was nice being close to family for xmas. the staff at the front desk, especially De, were super friendly. De went out of their way to make sure we were happy. And the price was pretty reasonable for the area.

The kitchenette lacked basic essentials like cooking utensils and pots. the room had a musty smell and the pool wasn't clean or available.

I have just returned from a really nice stay in this family-friendly hotel, great-sized and brand-new rooms. The room is reasonably priced. The location is favourable and ideal, 1 mile from Arboretum of Winnie. Moreover, it is adjacent to AL-T's restaurant, beaches and fishing, and historical sites...

The continental breakfast offers a wide array of food options. The room was spacious, brand-new, and had a very comfy bed along with central heating, a flat-screen cable TV, and a microwave. The staff working here are amiable and attentive. The location of the hotel in Winnie is favorable and ideal.

I booked the room online at a rate of $49.99 and when I checked in, was charged $59.99. I brought it to the attention of the staff and at first was told I was charged the appropriate rate. When the staff saw on their own confirmation that the rate was incorrect, their comment was "Well, they should not have done that". I was quickly reimbursed however. My mother was staying with me and had to prep for a medical procedure. That very night, we had major plumbing issues so we booked a hotel room for her while we dealt with the plumbing problems. I did not expect the hotel to be so "basic". The hotel is only good for someone that may be in town working and need a cheap place to stay. Very basic, cheaply built but I will say the room was clean but had a "stinch".

The staff was courteous and non-intrusive. Our stay was of a combined nature/romantic sort, and everything met our expectations, especially for the very rfeasonable price.

The location is great, close to Baytown, a liquor store, Houston, the Gulf, and San Jacinto.

The staff was very nice. I will be staying there in the future. The kitchen was great and the room was clean.

I would like to have had some dish soap and paper towels to do the dishes.

This place is my favorite, it has an awesome location near the beach in Galveston, and it's really close to a store and AL-T's restaurant.

Kitchenettes in the rooms were great- excellent for me as I like to do my own cooking when on the road. Room was large, a suite size with a big window and a view out over a back meadow, The hotel staff were really nice and welcoming. Not what I am used to at budget hotels. Fellow workers and I came in early and had a BBQ late lunch out on a deck by the pool. The atmosphere was really nice under a tree and looking at the sunset over the meadow. The hotel is dog-friendly. Rosie had a fine romp in the meadows. Other owners met together for an impromptu walk. Dogs had a great time. The hotel’s location is excellent; it is set back from the highway, yet just a couple hundred yards from the exits to Winnie on I-10. Convenient yet “country-like”. That was really pleasant. The free morning continental breakfast was a nice addition. I also had lunch at a nearby restaurant which gave the hotel guests a 20% discount. That felt good. Recommend this hotel for really nice budget travel.

No restaurant, but then the kitchenettes and the 20% discount at Denny's make up for it.

staying close to family in winnie is always a pleasure. this city break at americas best went beyond expectations. the front desk staff, de, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making sure my visit was enjoyable.

The location is great, just near Crystal Beach and the Gulf of Mexico, with a short walk to Jack in the Box to grab a bite to eat.

Convenient location for exploring the area - close to beaches, southeast Texas, and even a liquor store. 🏖️ It's a great spot for all your vacation needs!
